As we focus much attention on the plight Yemenis going through famine and war in Yemen, we must not forget the Yemeni refugees who are now here, in Malaysia, who also require our help and support.

With this in mind, RAR together with Beacon Hospital held free medical check-ups for the Yemeni community in KL yesterday at Seri Kembangan.

Alhamdulillah the event was a success and we owe many thanks to the dedicated team of doctors, nurses and pharmacists from Beacon Hospital, Imaret, Hospital Selayang and PPUM, and the Tangible Association for Yemeni Refugees Malaysia who worked with compassion and attended to more than 140 patients.

There is still much to do as we discovered many cases of chronic illnesses requiring follow up treatment. InshaAllah we will keep you posted on the help needed so that we may do our part as the Ansaar for these muhajireen.

“At-Taubah 9:100

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct – Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.”
